Liebe Läufer,

wir können die Veranstaltung nicht wie angekündigt 2012 durchführen, da
wir immer noch um eine Genehmigung kämpfen. Die Parkverwaltung des
Kilimanjaro (Kinapa) ist dafür, aber die übergeordnete Behörde für alle
tansanischen Nationalparks (Tanapa) kann sich noch nicht durchringen.
Sie haben seit einem halben Jahr alle Unterlagen, haben uns kennen
gelernt und es bleibt uns zurzeit nur zu sagen: „Ach, Afrika!“ Auf
anderen Kontinenten würde man wohl Interesse zeigen und kooperieren...
Demnächst veröffentlichen wir hier das mit Kinapa abgestimmte
Streckenprofil für ...2013. Also verbleibt Euch und uns mehr Zeit zur
Vorbereitung und für die Vorfreude auf das höchste Mehr-Etappen-Rennen
der Welt. Vielleicht schaut der eine oder andere in der Zwischenzeit
beim 7. KiliMAN im Februar 2012 vorbei?

Dear runners,

Unfortunately we have to cancel the event for 2012 because we are still filing for permission. We have the support of the Kilimanjaro National Park Administration (Kinapa) but the overall administration of all National Parks in Tanzania (Tanapa)
is still indecisive. Tanapa has our proposal since half a year and made a meeting with us in November 2010, but this is Africa! We think that in other regions of the world we would get more interest and support.
In the next time we will public here the distance profile for 2013, which we have verified with Kinapa already. So, for you and us more time for preparations and pleasant anticipation of the highest more stage running event in the world!

May be some of you like to come 2012 to the 7th KiliMAN in the meantime?
